This is the top ten medical school list. The list given bellow is sorted out using a research done by US News. There could be really good medical schools missing, but that's just a matter of ranking and what characteristics are used to make it. Anyway, here is the list.

1. Harvard University

The Harvard Medical School has the reputation of being number one in the country. The competition for getting a place at Harvard University is pretty intense as a total of 5,482 applicants battled for 165 places. Stats for the 2007 class show that 88 of those accepted were male, and 77 female. All first-year students were from 30 states, Puerto Rico, and 8 countries. The tuition is $38,600 and the fees are $3,047, so definitely all the quality provided by this medical school does come at a high price.
